Salary and Benefits: Compensation for this position will be $52,000/year. The Program Associate will need to use their personal phone for this position, but a laptop and printer may be provided by Open Path. Candidates may reside in any state in the United States as long as they are able to work the stated hours. Open Path’s headquarters are located in Asheville, NC. We maintain frequent email communication, supportive supervision, and monthly team-building opportunities. Open Path strives for a cohesive and warm virtual environment. While the person in this role will work closely with other Open Path staff, this is a job that will be done remotely in the quiet, non-chaotic environment of the employee’s choice. Full-time employees work 3 hours on Fridays, and we anticipate moving to a 4-day work week this fall. Hours and Location: This is a full-time position, Monday – Thursday, 9am - 5pm Eastern Time. Proficiency or fluency in spoken and written Spanish a plus. Our ideal candidate would also have experience in social justice and/or the mental health field. Be able to appropriately handle confidential information.

#OPEN PATH COLLECTIVE REGISTRATION#
The Program Associate will assist eligible clients with program registration and ensure that they are able to find a therapist to fit their needs. The full-time, remote Program Associate handles the virtual front desk and works closely with prospective and enrolled clients and therapists in our Open Path affordable therapy program.

We also need to get the word out about what we offer so that people searching for mental health treatment know that an affordable solution exists. It is integral to our success that we only introduce qualified, experienced therapists into our network, and that we maintain the resources to continue this course. We do not welcome student interns into the Collective.
#OPEN PATH COLLECTIVE LICENSE#
Ability to describe their process of working as a mental health professional without introducing red flags or areas of concern each therapist must show us proof of their state license and liability insurance, and list a professional reference who we consult if one or both reviewers is uncertain about a given applicant. As I mentioned when I first proposed Open Path, quality control is my top priority, and our therapist applicants go through a thorough vetting system: each application is reviewed by two licensed mental health counselors who consider three requirements: 1. Open Path Psychotherapy Collective is a non-profit (operating under the auspices of the Foundation for Excellence in Mental Health Care) so we are always looking for financial support to keep the virtual doors open.
